Tiburon LinkEXPLORER is a powerful database analysis and visualization tool. Investigators capture data in a variety of methods, build queries graphically and view the results in interactive link analysis charts. The graphical display of the results is updated as new information arrives, allowing the investigators to quickly uncover critical connections that they may have otherwise missed.
First released (as Watson) in the early 1990s, Tiburon LinkEXPLORER is used globally by law enforcement, homeland security and anti-terrorism agencies, the insurance industry and private-sector investigators.
Tiburon LinkEXPLORER is built with LispWorks for Windows using the CAPI toolkit for its GUI. The advanced chart layout algorithms are written in Common Lisp while a COM/Automation server implemented in Lisp allows Tiburon LinkEXPLORER to be controlled by another application, Tiburon LINKS. The LispWorks Automation module is also used to integrate Tiburon LinkEXPLORER with mapping software.
