Version upgrades
Maintenance contracts are not available for the Hobbyist editions, but you can upgrade from LispWorks 7.1 Hobbyist to LispWorks 8.0 Hobbyist (same platform, same bitness, when available) for 50% of the current license fee. Similarly you can upgrade from LispWorks 7.1 HobbyistDV to LispWorks 8.0 HobbyistDV (same platform, same bitness, when available) for 50% of the current license fee.
64-bit and HobbyistDV upgrades
You can upgrade from LispWorks 8.0 Hobbyist (32-bit) to LispWorks 8.0 Hobbyist (64-bit) on the same platform for $250. Similarly you can upgrade from LispWorks 8.0 HobbyistDV (32-bit) to LispWorks 8.0 HobbyistDV (64-bit) on the same platform for $500. Please note that an upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit LispWorks terminates your license for 32-bit LispWorks.
You can upgrade from LispWorks 8.0 Hobbyist to LispWorks 8.0 HobbyistDV on the same platform for the difference between their license prices.
Professional upgrades
You can upgrade from LispWorks 8.0 Hobbyist/HobbyistDV to LispWorks 8.0 Professional (same platform, same bitness) for the difference between their license prices. This is required if you want to use LispWorks for any commercial or business purpose.
You can start a Professional Edition maintenance contract when you upgrade, with a bundled price for the first year.
Enterprise upgrades
You can upgrade from LispWorks 8.0 Hobbyist/HobbyistDV to LispWorks 8.0 Enterprise (same platform, same bitness) for the difference between their license prices. This is required if you want to use any of the LispWorks Enterprise features such as KnowledgeWorks or Common SQL.
You can start an Enterprise Edition maintenance contract when you upgrade, with a bundled price for the first year.
