5.1.2 General changes to software components
This release of Liquid Common Lisp adds many new modules and removes others. Most new modules incorporate features of LispWorks. Following is a summary of modules that are new in this release:
common-defsystem
- Harlequin's
defsystem.
lispworks-compatibility
- Internal system support.
capi- CAPI with Graphics Ports and the LispWorks Editor.
common-lispworks
- The Common LispWorks environment.
common-ffi- Internal system support.
lep- Support for Lisp-Emacs Protocol (LEP).
find-callers- Code to find callers of a given function.
tcp-sockets- Lisp interface to TCP network sockets.
Thedelivery-toolkit andeditor modules have been removed in this release. For details of changes to particular modules, see the other subsections of Section 5.1. For information on loading modules, see Section 3.1.3.
