22.4.4 Performing operations on system members
A variety of operations can be performed on any number of nodes selected in the Graph area. If no nodes are selected, or if you are in another view, the commands are performed on the current system, whose name is printed in the System area.
The
Systems
menu gives you access to the standard actions described in Performing operations on selected objects.

Choose
Systems > Parent
to browse the parent system. This takes you up one level in the hierarchy.

Systems > Compile and Load

Systems > Compile
, or
Systems > Load
to compile or load the selected members and any subsystems selected in the Graph area.

Systems > Concatenate
to produce one fasl file from several fasl files.

Choose
Systems > Search Files
to search any of the selected members (and any subsystems) for a given string. The matches are displayed in the editor.

Choose
Systems > Replace
to search all the files in the selected members (and any subsystems) for a given string and replace it with another string. You are prompted for a search string a string to replace it with in the echo podium.
