5.1 Changes in this release
"LUCID" in package names has been changed to"LIQUID". Note, in particular, that the package formerly named"LUCID-COMMON-LISP" is now named"LIQUID-COMMON-LISP"; its nickname remains"LCL". The package formerly named"LUCID" is now named"LIQUID". However, the former package names (mentioningLUCID are retained as nicknames in order to provide some backward compatibility for this release. As part of the integration of LispWorks features in this release, the"LISPWORKS" package (nickname"LW") is now available. This package exports symbols associated with LispWorks features. Several interfaces have been changed to incorporate the"LISPWORKS" package:
"USER" package now uses the"LISP","LIQUID-COMMON-LISP", and"LISPWORKS" packages. In previous releases it used"LISP" and"LUCID-COMMON-LISP"."COMMON-LISP-USER" package (nickname"CL-USER"), which is available when theansi-packages submodule is loaded, now uses the"COMMON-LISP","LIQUID-COMMON-LISP", and"LISPWORKS" packages. In previous releases it used"COMMON-LISP" and"LIQUID-COMMON-LISP".*default-make-package-use-list* is now a list of the"LISP","LIQUID-COMMON-LISP", and"LISPWORKS" packages. If theansi-packages module is loaded, the default value is a list of the"COMMON-LISP","LIQUID-COMMON-LISP", and"LISPWORKS" packages.:add-use-defaults option todefpackage, the packages listed as the value of*default-make-package-use-list* are added to the use list of the package being defined. Because the default value of*default-make-package-use-list* has changed, the default list of packages added to the use list by the:add-use-defaults option has changed as well.
