2.3 Contents of the distribution

2.3.1 The app-defaults directory

Theapp-defaults directory contains X Window System application-specific resource settings ("app-defaults") in the following files:

Note: When a CAPI screen is opened, CAPI reads theLispWorks file to define application context fallback resources. You can place alternate app-defaults files in the standard locations, as defined by the X Toolkit Intrinsics, that will override these fallbacks. Note that all information in theLispWorks file is subject to change in the future.

TheGcMonitor file is a set of suggested application resource defaults for the GC monitor. This file is not read automatically if it remains in the Liquid
app-defaults directory. If you want to use these resource settings, place a copy ofGcMonitor in the proper application class resource file location for your system (typically/usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/).
