17.1 Sending mail

17.1.1 Copying mail messages

By default, a copy of any mail that you send is not kept. To send yourself a copy of any message, add a line to the headers of the message that consists of the textBcc: followed by your e-mail address. This line can be added anywhere before the line that reads "-----text follows this line-----".

If you wish, you can automatically send yourself a copy of every message you send by adding your name to theBcc field by default.

To do this, set the value of the variablemail::*mail-self-blind* tot.
