13.1.5 Performing operations on the current function or selected methods

You can use the Function and Methods menus to access commands which operate on the current generic function or the selected methods. These commands are similar to commands available in other tools, and so you should find them familiar.

The following commands are available from either the Function or Methods menus:

The standard action commands let you perform a number of operations on the selected methods or the current function. For details on the commands available, see Section 3.8 on page 43.

Choose Undefine to undefine the current generic function or the selected methods so that they are no longer available in the environment.

The Trace submenu gives you the ability to trace and untrace the current generic function or the selected methods. See Section 3.10 on page 48 for details about the commands available in this submenu.
