7.2.6 Stream I/O control variables

The following variables control the manner in which input is read from and output is printed to a stream:

*ignore-extra-right-parens* *print-structure*

The variable*ignore-extra-right-parens* determines the outcome when a form contains an extra right parenthesis. The variable*print-structure* controls the level of detail that is printed about structures.
