2.7 Switching between windows

In the previous sections we have introduced several of the major tools in the LispWorks IDE. You will often want to view one tool and then swiftly switch to another LispWorks window, and perhaps another. For instance many programmers edit and evaluate their source code in the Editor tool, then run a test function in the Listener, and return to the Editor to further modify their code, and so on.

The shortcut key to switch between LispWorks IDE windows depends on your desktop environment or window manager, but is often Alt+Tab. This cycles through all of the windows on your desktop. To cycle through them in reverse order, you can often use Alt+Shift+Tab.
