6.1 Universal binaries

LispWorks (32-bit) for Macintosh is a universal binary, containing both PowerPC and Intel architectures. To deliver a universal binary application from LispWorks (32-bit) for Macintosh, you will need an Intel-based Macintosh computer. You can specify a universal binary build in the Application Builder tool (see the Common LispWorks User Guide ) or call save-universal-from-script directly (see the LispWorks Reference Manual ).

LispWorks (64-bit) for Macintosh is also a universal binary, containing both PowerPC and Intel architectures. To create a universal binary application from LispWorks (64-bit) for Macintosh, you will need to deliver separately on both a PowerPC Macintosh and an Intel-based Macintosh computer. Contact Lisp Support if you need advice on creating a 64-bit universal binary after that.
