3.12.2 Advanced Filtering

This section describes how you can filter list items by a regular expression match rather than a plain string match, and how to invert the filter.

To filter with a regular expression, enter your regular expression in the filter pane, raise the filter modes menu and select Regexp Search , and press .

You can also filter by excluding items matching the string or regular expression you enter. To filter by excluding the matching items, select Exclude matches in the filter modes dropdown menu.

Note: filtering by exclusion works independently of whether the matching is by plain string or by regular expression.
