To control the amount of information displayed automatically in the Backtrace area, select the Backtrace tab of the Stepper Preferences dialog:

To make the status item in the Backtrace area automatically expand to show the arguments or return values, select Yes against Expand status automatically .
To make the active frame in the Backtrace area automatically expand to show the local variables and arguments, select Yes against Expand active frame automatically .
