In situations where mail messages are apparently lost after a system crash, you can use the
Read Spool File
editor command in an editor. Messages are from the spoolfile to a
.mailtemp
file, and are then read from there. If this fails, you can use the
Read Spool File
editor command that prompts for a
.mailtemp
file to be read in directly.
