2.7 Switching between windows

In the previous sections we have introduced several of the major tools in the Common LispWorks IDE. You will often want to view one tool and then swiftly switch to another Common LispWorks window, and perhaps another. For instance many programmers edit and evaluate their source code in the Editor tool, then run a test function in the Listener, and return to the Editor to further modify their code, and so on.

The shortcut key to switch between Common LispWorks windows on Cocoa is Command+~ . This cycles through the windows in the order they were created. To cycle through them in reverse order, use Command+Shift+~ .
