int32

Type
Summary

A type used to generate optimal 32bit arithmetic code.

Package

system

Signature

int32

Description

The type int32 is used to generate optimal 32bit arithmetic code.

Objects of type int32 are generated and can be manipulated using the functions in the INT32 API but the compiler can optimize such source code by eliminating the intermediate int32 objects to produce efficient raw 32bit code.

See the section "Fast 32bit arithmetic" in the LispWorks User Guide for more information.
