16 The Process Browser
16.3 Other ways of breaking processes
If you do not wish to use the process browser to break a particular process, you can use either of the following keyboard commands:- Press
Meta-Ctrl-C to break the current process. - Press
Shift Meta-Ctrl-C to generate a menu of process, allowing you to select any of the current processes to break.
Note that you must use the true Meta key on your keyboard for these commands.
