13 The Generic Function Browser
13.1 Examining information about methods When the generic function browser is first displayed, the default view is the methods view. You can also choose it explicitly by choosing View > Methods from the menu bar of the generic function browser.
When in the methods view, the generic function browser appears as shown in Figure 13.1 below.

The methods view has four areas, described below.

- 13.1.5 - Performing operations on the current function or selected methods
